Menominee River Extended Stay Hotel

Very clean and quiet. Rooms are big and really cozy. Great area.

Nice little motel. Main benefit is that it's in a pretty quiet area. Quiet hours start at 9 and they seem to do a pretty good job enforcing that. There is a boat launch within walking distance if you want to dip your feet or go fishing. A nice restaurant across the street which is probably good for you but bad for me (see my review). A couple picnic tables if you want to sit outside and read. Some of the bigger rooms even have a stove and kitchen sink if you want to cook something. Main drawback is the floors are all hardwood, so the slightest sound in the hallway bounces and echoes into the room. There is an ice machine that makes a loud noise just about every hour. The gap under the door between rooms is large enough that I could hear my neighbor snoring as if they were in the room with me. Creepy! The motel is cleaned on Mondays and Tuesdays (and random other days... whenever the manager feels like I guess). Unfortunately, the staff isn't so good at knowing which guests are where and for how long. Even though my quite recognizable car is always in the same place, I have been walked in on 3 times in the 2 weeks I've been here! (I keep the swing-bar lock closed all the time now after the first time, I highly suggest you do the same.) A "do not disturb" sign would nice, I thought about making one but it's easier just to keep the door locked. The blankets and covers are also pretty lacking. I had to buy an additional blanket because my roommate couldn't sleep if the room was more than 60 degrees. (No star deduction because I think this was a rare situation.) Hopefully they put thicker or more blankets on in the colder months. I can't speak for the price as my stay was paid for by Veriha Trucking. Oh I almost forgot, the doors are locked with passcodes, and the first time I was here a couple months ago NOBODY could get into their rooms because they told us all the wrong passcodes. It sucks when you get here in the middle of the night and you can't sleep anywhere! It was fine this second time though. ALSO, the shower always has a 50% chance of taking MORE THAN FIVE MINUTES to become warm enough to enter. Weird.

Nice quiet place. They are out of the way a bit, but all in all very nice place. Mattress was very comfortable. I slept well

Traveling for work, stayed here a week. And Absolutely loved it here. Nice, clean, spacious rooms. Convenient kitchenette. Good location with the lake right here. Free laundry, access to the things you need for your stay. Great communication with the owner. Will definitely be back! Thank you so much Michelle

The rooms are very clean and comfortable. We didn't have to interact with any of the staff as it was provided to us through my husbands employer. The hall is well lit, and the view from the room is woodsy.

Room was spacious and clean. Had to call the customer service phone number and was promptly connected to someone even though it was their after hours line. Beds and pillows were not comfortable at all. Walls are very thin. We could hear the guest next door snoring and his TV all night long. You can also hear the outside doors opening and closing from your room. Im not sure how safe id feel here without my partner considering there’s no staff. Just some things to consider if you’re planning on booking!
